Realizing that the best results come from healthy and collaborative teams, systems and processes that support creativity, and teams of people that are led well, Jeff has dedicated his life to the complexities and joys of effective leadership in and through the arts.
He is currently the Central Arts and Worship Pastor and Executive Team Member at Willow Creek Community Church. Formerly the Arts Director and Executive Team Member at Community Christian Church's Yellow Box. He also helped NewThing Network as an Arts Catalyst. After attending Cincinnati Christian University and performing on a few tours and albums with various bands, Jeff left Cincinnati for Michigan to plant the third NewThing church, 242 Community Church. When he's not at the Yellow Box, Jeff is often developing and coaching other Arts Directors and churches, or you'll find him in the garage making soap, cheese, beer or some other concoction. Jeff married his high school sweetheart Geneva, and they have two young boys, Judah and Asher. Together, they love traveling, exploring, restaurants, concerts, museums and festivals…so 2020-21 has pretty much sucked for them.
